THERE IS A VACANCY

  • What is a vacancy?

Vacancy means the state of being vacant. Also meaning a gap, a breach, something empty, or something lacking. We are specifically talking about something empty in a place or a need where God needs you to do or say something. There are many needs in the world and God has designed each one of us to fulfill those needs in some way or fashion. If they aren’t being taken care of then there is a vacancy in that place or person.

  • What created the vacancy?

We created vacancies in our life and others' lives when we choose to disobey God and refuse to align with his design for how needs across the world should be completed. When we make excuses for why we can’t accomplish tasks that God has specifically designed for us, we allow vacancies to appear. Matthew 12:43-44 tells us that when we leave spaces in our lives vacant then we leave a space for the enemy to return. Not only just to return but to return with other spirits more wicked than the first we initially dealt with. We ourselves developed the vacancy and allowed a spot to be vacant. What places in your life have you left vacant?

  • How does the vacancy hurt you and others?

When there is a vacancy in our lives whether that be a certain position, office, or responsibility then that is a need in the earth that isn’t being fulfilled. There are people that are not getting what they need because you have left a vacancy somewhere. This could be a business that is supposed to feed those less fortunate but now there are people that are starving and not receiving what they need because you haven’t started the business. The very business that God designed for you to run that would step in and fill the gap for his people. Whether you are occupying the room or leaving it vacant the enemy still wants to destroy you. When you occupy the room then you are getting full of everything that you need to fight against the enemy. When you leave the room vacant, you are still attacked in that place but you are ill-equipped and the fight can be seven times worse for no reason, other than you left the room empty.

  • If not you, then who?

God is good God. He isn’t going to allow the vacancy for long. If you won’t occupy the room and operate in obedience, then someone else will. God will fill the vacancy with someone who will do the work. Remember that just saying you want to do something or that you believe that God has something for you to do is completely different than actually accomplishing what God is showing you. We should put action behind occupying the room, position, office, business, or education. Talking about filling the vacancy doesn’t fill the vacancy. This week Apostle Jivel said, “Talk is cheap, but the follow-through is expensive”. You will have to put in the work to see the result and if you don’t, God will fill your vacancy with someone who will accomplish what is needed on the earth.

HOW TO AVOID A VACANCY

• Repentance and cleansing • Don't doubt • Be obedient • No excuses

First things first, if you have allowed a vacancy in your life. Go through repentance. Repent and ask God to clean out the room and fill it up with Him. Ask Him to fill it with everything that you need in order to accomplish his will and the need on the earth. He will supply all your needs. If you have a need that aligns with what God has asked you to do then rest assured that he will provide you with everything that you could possibly need. Don’t doubt God. Don’t doubt that He will help you, that He gave you purpose, or that He can give you anyone single that you will need. When we doubt, we are telling God that we believe He can help us accomplish anything. It is time to find confidence in God and run straight into obedience. When we are obedient then God can continue to grow us, push us forward, increase us, move us into position, increase responsibility, release finances, and drop wisdom that we need in order to flourish. Obedience in the beginning with a small amount will only help you to continue and give you an opportunity for more with God. And last but not least…no excuses. Excuses and “I can’t” is telling God that you don’t want the destiny he created for you.

This week I pray that you sit and seek God about vacancies in your life. I pray that you will be humble enough, to be honest with yourself. That you will go through repentance and allow God to cleanse you. I pray that vacancies start to disappear in Jesus name.
